sad thing is that we've been failing at rejecting it for decades every time I look at a railway ticket, there's some garbage about CO2. fine print, just a mention. and we didn't manage to have it taken off - probably part of some EU modernization package then we saw: buy your credit offset in airlines. and we didn't manage to have it taken off it's all around us, some of it since 90/00s, mild spots of the climate-agenda-based mold the the banks started talking about scoring transactions. in Poland it didn't took off, not sure if it stayed elsewhere though I know they wanted to perform privacy-invasive scoring of people applying for job benefits and the homeless. Polish NGO was documenting it. we have to up our game in dismantling whatever traces of scoring persist or are being installed the culture needs to be hostile to this
I used to have a middle class colleague. He always said it was different but comfy. I do wonder about China. The lack of Happenings1!! makes me wonder if China is p0wned at the high level.
