Spring means asparagus. I planted 5 crowns a out 10 years ago. They've spread and seeded quite a bit and we get a nice harvest of spears several times a week. Wrapped in crispy prosciutto and served with some New York Strips.

We peeled it and put it in soup and it was dslicious, much to my surprise. I figured it'd be woody, but nope, peeling solved that.
We didn't actually plant the asparagus, it was here when we mived in a decade ago, vut we are happy to benefit from a previous resident getting it established for us.
