especially for beta, i'm surprised just putting an apk out there on their site or on github wasn't the first thing they did.

Philosophically, the more of us who won't use apps that require us to trust them with our nsec, the more apps that will at least have it on their roadmap.

I thought the NSec was for  TestFlight only. It frustrated me a bit but hey having a Wavlake app is cooler

you don't need to login to use the app. zaps are sent anonymously if you're not logged in. if you want to create a library, you can create a new account with the sign up flow in the app.

You're not wrong, for sure. But I will take having only 1 app that could store my nsec over giving EVERY app access to it any day. The less possible points of exposure the better. Looking forward to the day I can have my nsec on a tapsigner and even Amber won't be able to store it. (pls @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM 🌞)

Thank you! Can't tell you how grateful I am for nostr devs being willing to discuss this type of thing with the community. Also, what you guys at @Wavlake are doing for music in general, by leveraging nostr and zaps, is nothing short of incredible!

is there any difference bdtween using this and the browser app install? also, why are they using google?
