KYC defeats the very purpose of money in the first place. Money is a tool that humans figured out because they wanted to show appreciation and value to people they didn't know. So you have something to exchange with people you don't trust. That's the whole point of money. So KYC is oxymoronic on every level to me. - @knutsvanholm on KYC

Connecting this with the recent samurai wallet case development, this is what I see: People “ hey guys why don’t we use this other thing as money, we agree on it and we simply create a parallel system without hurting anybody” Government: “absolutely not, you are not free to choose what to use as money. I tell you what you can use to freely exchange value with others, and if you don’t obey then jail” When I think about it like this the situation is absolutely out of control!!! Ps: I secretly confide in the wealthy of the world to adopt bitcoin and go head to head against governments

It’s a means of communication- just like language. KYC is then a big school marm to your choice and your time. BTC is the unstoppable middle finger.
