Quick story that no one asked for: In 2015 when I was about 27 years old I had a big mole removed because it was cancerous. Pretty tough and unexpected news to get at that age. They took about 2 inches around of skin off to make sure it didn’t spread. When they were doing the surgery the freezing wore off before they were finished. Doctor said, we can refreeze it with about 20 pokes. Or we can just finish it. Option 2 was the obvious choice. I can still smell the burning and remember the feeling. But now, I always have that to fall back on. Anytime I feel pain, I always reflect to that and it’s not so bad anymore. Pain reminds us we’re alive.
key to success: Embrace pain, hardships, and hard work. Great people embrace the greatest pain in their hard lives.
