I thought we'd see more Nostr adoption after the Bitcoin Magazine conference in Nashville. Oh well. The mission hasn't changed.

I've noticed more activity. But that's just own perception.

Beyond the panel, it gets named dropped a lot by bitcoiners here and there, but at some point I would love it if someone of prominence with a microphone loudly and unapologetically shouted to Get The Fuck on Nostr!
Would it move the needle? Maybe not, but it would be a great rallying cry.
I think eventually NGU will make the “bitcoin echo chamber” seem like a happy inevitability…. Moar boat pics from Derek might help too
I was little disappointed that the main stage in Nashville cleared out after Trumps speech. In my opinion I felt one of the best panels of the conference was the Nostr Panel and a lot of people missed out.
To me it felt like the Nashville conf put way too much emphasis on the politicians this time around. Hopefully next year will be different. Get back to focusing on DEVS, updated and new freedom tech software, hardware and solutions.
Or just have them use it regularly. Lyn Alden uses it, not too many others. No point in touting it unless you’re using it.

There wasn't a huge nostr presence at the co Terence. I met tons of people who use it and when I mentioned I was nostr only, almost everyone already had a profile. I think this time around it just wasn't pushed nearly as hard as other conferences.

That's not surprising. On the last day of the conference people are ready to be done. By the end of the last day, when the panel was done, they were never going to get a lot of attendance. This paired with Trump taking an extra hour, was a recipe for failure. It's a shame. The panel was amazing.
