I think it’s worth noting the type of marketing used here too, as with this CEO, so many users just buy into this sort of talk. It’s a shame that a lot of our technical concepts are un-sexy to most, therefore many overlook them. I also found it ironic that this Op-ed from Patreon was behind a NYT paywall, because of course.
