I hated high school.
High school was awesome.
Comparing attending high school with your friends to being a soldier in a trench is wild 😂
I went to a small Catholic HS in the midwest, in the 90s, so maybe that affects it, but we had a blast. I hated leaving.
My kids are both there now, and I’m on the board and in the booster club.
I suppose where you are plays a big part.
But remember how relatively good that guy was at an athletic thing!

Co-ed. Had been all girls for about 75 years, until the 50s.
Been a pk-12 academy since just before my senior started preschool.

Yeah I went to all a boys school. We had some fun there too.
I hated American public school so damn much. Home school was pretty great but I look back at public school with utter contempt.
