If you associate the Knights Templar with Freemasons, you're behind the times.
Freemasonry emerged 400 years after the Knights Templar order was dissolved.
Freemasons use terms related to the Knights Templar as well as biblical references because they mock it, such as the 33rd degree. Does the number 33 ring a bell?
Ask yourself why the order was dissolved. Imagine that a group of Bitcoiners became tremendously powerful by spreading the word of Satoshi, to the point of becoming independent from the states, which at that time were kings.
This led them to be seen as a parallel power that was annoying to some kings, especially Philip IV of France (Philip the Fair).
