The Four Rules of Gun Safety: 1. Treat every weapon as if it is loaded. 2. Never point a gun at anything you are not willing to destroy. 3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. 4. Know your target and what is beyond it. #IKITAO #GunSafety

I mean, it's not true. That's like saying we can live in a world without cars. You can't even if you're Amish. It's a technology, can't be uninvented.
Definitely not London. You can find many places like this in Norway, Sweden, Iceland, etc. We do use firearms for hunting of course though.
Guns are nothing to worry about where I live. Probably sounds like utopia if you’re from the US. There are still some corners of the world where this is the reality. I don’t mean to offend you guys, and I totally understand why you feel you have to protect yourself.

If you are a physical being on the earth, guns are something to worry about. I don't know if you believe that the local government "would never do such a thing" or a foreign government "could never invade," you are mistaken. As far as actual mental preoccupation with worry, you probably shouldn't even if guns are ubiquitous where you are.
Added benefit if you know how to treat guns is that literally every action movie turns instantly into a comedy. Like one hand shooting in a jump into a tire of a moving car :).
