⚡️👀 NEW - X has updated its rate limits for unverified accounts: - Unverified accounts (non-Premium) are now limited to 50 original posts and 200 replies per day. - Direct messages are capped at 500 per day. - There is also a technical follow limit of around 400 accounts per day. - Once an account reaches 5,000 followed accounts, further following is restricted based on account-specific ratios. These changes are designed to reduce spam, bots, and abusive behavior on the platform. (As a reminder, there are no such limits on Nostr)

This will finally make someone create a smarphone (say android) VM for KVM/Quemu or other hypervisor that successfully spoofs everything and creates social media accounts. Good luck for law enforcement trying to catch them in the third world.... Today riskybiz reported on scam farms moving to Indonesia... This moving target moves faster than honest people will be able to catch up with... Please fund my nostr_pass id project, and we can normalize a rich zero knowledge platform and move everyone to yubikeys or equivalent. Start id-ing bots. Make our offer respectable and useful. Debate the estsblishment on these issues with a tech platform to offer.
