Just spent a family dinner debating the merits of #Bitcoin over fiat/gold/eggs... Challenging, and I may have to avoid mentioning the gold standard for a month or two, but it was great to have my lines of reasoning challenged. Thanks, family! :-)

they lump #bitcoin with all the other #shitcoins, and somehow they manage to frame all crypto as a "right wing thing"... And hilariously, they think fiat money is somehow better because it's backed by a "fiscal" authority. Not mentioning that that authority can print money at will, and devalue your assets without warning.

Visiting some friends who taught their #Dog to shit in the driveway... Why would you teach a dog that? Most people spend their dog-raising time furiously teaching the opposite. What's the competitive advantage of piles of shit where everyone will drive/walk the one time they want to visit you?
