Many BTC purists hate this and call it paper bitcoin. Yeah it doesn't matter. The same people who rightly say "bitcoin is the hardest and best money ever made and it will go up forever against fiat, because fiat has no bottom". Some how can't comprehend that building financial products on it makes perfect mathematical and economic sense. Cry about it all you want, markets will not care, bitcoin will not care and @Michael Saylor will not care either. image

Unfortunately, the reality is that most people don't take agency to adopt a new system ahead of states and institutions. They would rather wait and follow the masses and authorities. From this perspective, Saylor is offering a smooth transition. The fiat system will eventually collapse, so the longer we delay this transition, the more people will suffer. A smooth and longer transition helps reduce suffering and allows for sufficient time to build and finance the new system. This, in turn, enables normies to adapt and follow.
