I'm what world are dollars not money? And Bitcoin mining is fixed by it's design. It's designed so that mining will always be decentralized enough. My goal is to see a world where the dollar is not money. For that people have to start using Bitcoin. Adoption is more important than mining.

No habla de nutrición, la descentralización de Bitcoin es un tema económico.
Foundry, Ant Pool and F2pool control almost all the hashrate. They are all controlled by either the U.S. government or China. All the big US miners require KYC/AML compliance, and very few allow individual miners to control their own hash rate. The only exceptions I can think of are Ocean and DMND. Stratum v2 may eventually improve things, but that's a long time off. I agree that adoption is critical. I just think miming decentralization is as important.
You know what happens when a miner wants to pretend they can control or influence the network with their hashrate alone?
I'm not sure. Look at Mara mining. Remember this:
Nation states are more involved with the industry now than they were back then. Also, Mara didn't have the hash rate to ignore sentiment. Foundry does. Big institutional miners just care about the bottom line and fiat profits. They won't give a second thought to miner policy.

MARA
Marathon Digital Holdings Becomes the First North American Enterprise Miner to Produce Fully AML and OFAC Compliant Bitcoin
Company Successfully Directs all of its Hashrate to the Marathon OFAC Pool, the First North American-Based Bitcoin Mining Pool, Fully Compliant…...
If they wanna front like they control the network they can fork off. There is no incentive for miners to be bad.
No incentive? That's why Mara did it. To appease the U.S. government every large pool is KYC/AML. Censoring transactions from "rogue states" like Iran and Russia are next. That's if they stick around rather than switch to becoming AI data centers. Off topic: It's nice being able to have a back and forth on nostr. I feel like any kind of engagement is tough here. 😀
