Hi White Noise Messenger team,๐Ÿ‘ฝ I wanted to send a quick note of appreciation and support. Iโ€™m an active White Noise Messenger user and I genuinely love it โ€” the app feels solid, clean, and reliable. Since the latest update, Iโ€™ve also noticed a clearly improved battery usage on my device, which is a big deal for day-to-day use. Iโ€™m trying to help more people switch over, so Iโ€™ve already created some content about White Noise Messenger: an English read/review a German YouTube video a German blog article on alien-investor.org Thanks for the great work โ€” Iโ€™m rooting for you. Greetings from orbit ๐Ÿ›ธ

Hi!! Thank you for the kind words and for the incredible support. Happy to hear youโ€™re enjoying the UI and that the latest optimizations are working well:) And thank you for creating such a variety of content. Having reviews in both English and German is amazing for the community. ๐Ÿš€
I am unable to install whitenoise on my degoogled google pixle 9, i download from the zapstore, app verifier passes and then followed by a message โ€œsomething went wrongโ€ unable to download. any guidance how to install whitenoise successfully on a degoogled phone?
Hi ๐Ÿ‘ฝ Iโ€™m also using GrapheneOS (degoogled Pixel). I installed White Noise from the official GitHub release page, not via Zapstore: On Android, I used the ARM64 build: whitenoise-0.2.1-arm64-v8a.apk ๐Ÿ”ดImportant: always verify the checksum shown on the download page before installing. After installing, I added the app to Obtainium so it can pull future updates directly from the official releases. Thatโ€™s the exact workflow I used, and it works reliably on my degoogled phone.
Hi Alien Investor ๐Ÿ˜‰ i downloaded whitenoise from github in my download folder, clicking on the whitenoise-0.2.1-arm64-v8a.apk opens up the app verifier however, the installation process doesnโ€™t start. It stays on the app verifier or when i close and go back to the download it just goes again to the app verifier โ˜น๏ธ What am i doing wrong here?
Hi Max ๐Ÿ˜‰ i downloaded whitenoise from github in my download folder, clicking on the whitenoise-0.2.1-arm64-v8a.apk opens up the app verifier however, the installation process doesnโ€™t start. It stays on the app verifier or when i close and go back to the download it just goes again to the app verifier โ˜น๏ธ Similar when downloading the zapstore Alpha, goes to the app verifier, green tick box but nothing happens. What am i doing wrong here?
Hi ๐Ÿ‘ฝ try this: White Noise on GrapheneOS โ€“ Installation stuck at App Verifier? This is normal and confusing at first. The App Verifier only verifies the APK. It does not install apps. If verification shows SUCCESS, the APK is authentic and safe โ€” but still not installed. What to do: Exit App Verifier Open your Downloads folder Long-press the APK โ†’ Open with Select Package Installer If blocked: Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ Special app access โ†’ Install unknown apps โ†’ allow it for your file manager Why this happens: If the APK is always opened with App Verifier, you get stuck in a verification loop.
Hi Max, thanks a mill for your support here much appreciated ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘ I managed by following the step provided by Alien Investor: Open Downloads folder Long-press the APK โ†’ Open with Select Package Installer ๐Ÿ‘ profile set up done successfully.
