Day 5 update comparing Bitcoin zaps and Monero (xaps ?). - 3483 sats (≈$2.71, 25 zaps) - 0.01 XMR (≈$5.07, 1 xap) I discovered yesterday that My Monero payment target wasn’t showing up for several people. It seems that the client I used to create the payment target (Ditto) only added the Ditto relay to the 10133 event. I assume that means if you don’t connect to the Ditto relay, then that’s why you weren’t seeing it on my profile. So I rebroadcasted the event using a blastr relay and it seems to be showing up more reliably now. Profile and payment data needs to be everywhere. Not sure why a client would only use one relay when publishing that info. View quoted note →

Problem is you can't see who zapped or what they zap, so it's not a strong signal regardless of size. Also, the real benefit of xaps needs to make its way to the other stuff apps, like ngit and markets and such for it to shine.
"I (xaps already fails this sentence here) liked this (fails again)" Is a strong signal and one of the main differentiators of nostr and is especially important with 0 algos.
Lmao, what? Receiving $5 from someone online is ABSOLUTELY strong. Knowing which specific note they sent it for would be cool, but the fact that they sent it at all is plenty of signal for me. You do you tho. Lol
