I'm struggling to get a starter going too. It's developing white fluffy mold, so I scraped it just like you, closed off the air and it got better, so I've put it into fridge - and now it doesn't develop nearly at all. 🤦🏻♀️

Oh no, the one that I found on mine I’m not sure it’s mold. It’s white film but not as fuzzy. I hope yours will be awakened soon! Maybe the fridge is too cold for it so it’s kinda sleepy and lazy 😂
