I have reached the point where I only want to talk to Bitcoiners. People trapped in the “Fiat World” suck the life out of me; includes my family and friends. Fist fight with my brother over “investing”. Surreal. I want to educate non-bitcoiners, but they are so close-minded, miserable, and militant. Does anyone else feel this way?

Investing does not exist. It's not a real economic activity, only a symptom of fiat. There are more "venture capital" firms than there are McDonald in the US. Have one foot in fiat world and one foot in bitcoin world. I usually just don't talk markets with anyone unless they bring it up. The deaf leading the blind.

I moved to the other side of the world to work in bitcoin. Offered the job at #nostriga in 2024. Only Talk to two friends from the fiatsville , head down , do my thing

100%. Just stop bringing it up, though. When they ask how "that bitcoin thing is working out for you," just tell them: "about twice as good as last year." And repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Every time they ask. They'll get interested some time between reps 5 and 12. Its just how NPCs are. You can't change it.

every time I try to talk to others about bitcoin, monero and 'nostr' many instead of seeing it as a help, they try to evade the conversation. even trying to just talk about the things that one finds out in this place, I feel like I'm locked up because both my family and friends still continue to believe what the TV says or even believe in the words of many influencers.

The path you are walking is not for everyone. I get it, you figured it out and now you wanna wake up everyone close to you but that's not how it works unfortunately the only thing you can do is to guide them once they are ready and reach out to you even if it means watching them hit the iceberg.

I’m working on not arguing with people. Instead I try asking, and listening. People need to find it themselves. Let them know you like/buy/study Bitcoin. If they are curious they will ask you about it.
