i am definitely #bullish for #humanity
there is a moment at which total disaster becomes inevitable
a reversal of course prior to this moment mitigates the scale of the disaster
we have done it over and over and over again as a species, 200,000 years of continuous survival is nothing to sneeze at when you understand how badly things could have gone

but centralization of power and technical knowledge makes things more dangerous this time. We know enough to destroy this planet, not enough to do planets-arbitrage.
that whole doom from nukes thing is hilarious, i mean, it would be if it wasn't total nonsense
the rest of the doom cult is not based on credible science that considers all of the inputs
and ignores the problem of things we cannot possibly even dream of having control over unless we suddenly had energy generators that match what the sun and galaxy fling at us
everything you hear "scientists" dooming about that "us dirty humans" can influence is propaganda. end.
time to stop paying attention to propaganda and learning to recognise what science is
first port of call is this "expertism" as though you cannot have an effective skill at reasoning about these things without going to an accredited university
lol
