Not only the colors...
My wife had been pointing out this lack of colors for years.
I say as society becomes more evil, everything literally becomes darker.
It's indicative of a lack of joy.
I can see that.

This has actually been measured. Paint industry and market data put white, black, gray, and silver at about 80% of cars now, with every other color in single digits.
This decade especially. All of a sudden the fashion dictators seem to have decided everything must be black and white.
