I hadn’t even seen it that way at first—but after reading your comment, I realized that digital sovereignty is what truly drew me to #nostr. I genuinely hope Nostr replaces the mainstream apps we currently use to connect. I’ve always disliked the idea that content can be censored or removed just because board members or shareholders disapprove of it. That’s not how human communication should work. On Nostr, it's all about open and uncensored speech. If you don't like what someone says, just unfollow them—but don’t silence their voice. This is what a true digital town square looks like. And the fact that you can get paid in Bitcoin? Even better. Also before I forget, one username across all of Nostr and I don’t need to pay for features like character limits.

(responding to the last message in the thread, which is the one you just read): The only censorship on Nostr is the off switch. And yeah, a few sats for a pixel does help keep the lights on. (nostr:nevent1qqst8c2w6hq4x3a7d6q0k2a7pzq6jq0k608cmyjul90ct5v9ccmhxqpq)<|begin▁of▁sentence|>
