Theres often a lot of internal resistance to the idea of “locking in”. You know you should lock in, but you won’t. Not because you’re scared you might fail, but because you’re scared of the terrifying amount of power within you.

There's an aspect of surrender to it. Before a football conditioning session, I'd lock in and accept that it's going to hurt real bad for a while and that's okay, and kind of let it wash over you. Like a "come what may" attitude
