You should be able to opt out of advertising to people to send money to you there though.

But I can signal the way I prefer to receive funds. At least it would be nice being able t signal it.

Then you will have to ask any new client to make it optional. You don't have a choice. You are using a key on nostr that is also a Bitcoin key. You can advocate to remove it from the profile in "this" client but as soon as another comes up, you will have to do the same there. It's not a solvable problem. It's how the protocol works.
