Walked into a dark house for lunchtime. Panicked because I was sure I paid the bill but we have no power.
Kiddo comes running to me and says "mom, it's not a bill problem. It's a branch problem!"
So here I am, waiting for the power company.

The black on the top of the box makes me worry my house almost burned down.

I feel you. we have brownouts all the time and i very reluctant to agree that solar is the solution
Breakers and fuses did their job. Not a big risk. One arc, one flash, powers out.
Thankful for safety features like that but the scorch mark on the wall is scary shit.
