Am I the only one that thinks the Apple vision thing makes literally no sense?

It’s apple attempting to combine all of their devices and acquisitions while creating a new hardware platform for meta verses
i agree, i should have added sarcasm. as in " duh, you got it all wrong, is not $3,500 is ONLY $3,499 " is sort ok at $1.95 toothpaste, but $3,499 just feels stupid. price is insane high at $3,500 but oops, nah, totally ok doable at $3,499 and i have strong bias as very long time Apple fan boy sheeple
i have been asking for few years, with all the pre launch AR VR rumor, are there any good or new use case. not finding much beyond VR game now that watch intro video & read several hands on review from those trust. it seems for WHAT IT IS, very well done, maybe the best but is for, very vague & $3500, insane now if devs make ton great new ideas by 2024 at launch & by 2025 is less weight and $1500 & 2026 are awesome VR games, sports live 3D stream & smaller, less weighr & $800 then might have success path
Yeah – I agree mostly there. If there was ever a company that could actually pull this off it's Apple. That said, it feels like there are plenty of interactions that are sort of half way thought through. e.g. video calling... what do the other participants see of you? just your eyes? Anyway, I won't be an early adopter here but will definitely be keeping an eye on how it develops.
I watched some of the video but didn't see that part... I'll look again.
Ok – yeah. I didn't get to the part at the end explaining the tech. πŸ˜… Looks pretty cool for sure.
