how do we know of they are using a square terminal? usually I just tap my credit card on their POS

the square POS is branded with the square logo

l'll have to keep my eyes open, my merchants use the traditional pos with the physical buttons, but I've seen modern ones that are just touch screen, I never paid attention to the terminal brand tho.
