They are much easier to shoot. And who doesn't like not wearing hearing protection?
It does make a an absolute mess of the insides, very dirty. But it makes you clean your guns more often; never a bad thing.

The added safety that comes from not wearing hearing protection cannot be overstated, especially when teaching beginners.
Of course it is important to remember that silencers were added to the NFA in the US because they wanted to prevent poaching. Sounds fine until you put together that it was during the Great Depression. That means the real purpose was taking food off the plates of poor people.
Yeah that’s almost a feature. Got to keep em crispy.
