I also thought there was an EO against CBDCs
On a optimistic take, Maybe it's like how he hired John Bolton on the first go around to just scare people. It scares bitcoiners into realizing they don't control him... Always negotiating power dynamics.
I guess All it takes is another EO and CBDCs are back
