This seems to be a show stopper for many small businesses.
The show stopper for most small businesses, at least in the US, is media FUD, capital gains tax, AML concerns of tainted coins on surveillance blockchains and regulatory pressure putting the onus of KYC on every merchant.
They were using one at the MoneroTalk/topia in Mexico. I think it just linked a traditional PoS to a mobile wallet. For monero, can do a view only wallet so the employee can't move funds, only collect
Since Monero is money, it's good to save some, spend some, and give some.
It is pointless to hodl forever.
Treating it as a means to get rich quick just reveals a character flaw.
