He just said he felt better with carbs from some fruits and honey. Still major meat eater. He had some low level heart palpitations and vertigo from memory.

I’ve been playing around with animal based for a while now. Kinda doing a step down approach to cleaning up our diet but been wanting to do strict carnivore for at least 90 days to see how I feel. I did around 30+ days several years ago and felt really good but didn’t know much about organs, hydration, focusing on fatty cuts of meat, drinking way too much coffee, etc. so I wasn’t fully strict or knowledgeable about how to do it well. My GF and I did 10 days at the new year and felt amazing! She’s a bit more hesitant than I but after those 10 days I think she’s hooked. Any tips on how to really stick with it?

That makes a ton of sense. I’m not entirely sure why I stopped so maybe answering that question and defining solid values around self care and self respect could help! The fattier cuts tend to be cheaper so that’s good for us. I get a little queasy and have runny poops if I have too much fat but I think that’s because I’m having too much rendered fat. If I stay away from rendered fat and once I’m more fat adapted I sense those will be less of an issue. Community is huge with all this. It’s not that people give me shit about eating meat (I have good friends) it’s more of the triggers from the smells and packaging. How do you feel about fasting when it comes to carnivore? I’ve seen conflicting opinions. I’m also pretty thin so I don’t have much fat to live off of!
