Using Nostr to voice a gripe and concern I have.
If I encourage people to buy bitcoin… I could get into serious trouble with the FCA.
The FCA is a bit like the SEC in the US but it’s more draconian.
I had a meeting about this and was given guidance on the matter while in the uk last week.
I don’t live in the uk but I’m still liable. I’m told the new rules are so ridiculous I have to be careful with using rocket emojis when taking about bitcoin on my socials or on youtube.
It’s heinous, ridiculous and I hate it. But the uk is ridiculous and funnily enough, I often hate it.
The uk is not a bitcoin or crypto hub nor can it be with these rules in place.
So Study #bitcoin everyone.
And if you want to buy it, well that’s on you 🤙 🧡

I don’t make any money and it’s not about youtube. It’s about them seeing what I say or post
Hmm, then it's even harder bcs we need to wait an apocalyptic even for normies to ditch YouTube and big tech.
Peertube wouldn’t help. He’s doxxed.

🧨 Use a dynamite emoji instead. 🧨
Completely ambiguous.
🧨 Is he saying it's going up?
🧨 Is he saying it's going down?
🧨 Is he saying it's great just the way it is?
🧨 Is he saying you should buy in dynamite?
🧨 Is he an extremist?
On second thoughts.
You cannot say it, but I can.
BUY BITCOIN.
Why? Because you're not anon, I am.
That's the only thing to learn about this.
