Nostr (or something very like it) probably is a big deal in the far-ish future.
It will or it won't, I'm enjoying my time here and that's what matters to me. The doom and gloomers love a self fulfilling prophecy and will find any reason to claim it's dead.
We have to beat them to it before they start pushing their anti-Nostr "Dark Nostr" FUD propaganda to the masses to scare everyone away and keep then on the controlled platforms.

I love the fact that so many devs are working hard to bring humble and smart clients that are fun to discover and use.
Good things take time and support, and I am here to support nostr and bitcoin.
Nostr needs a plan to solve the cold start problem prior to being stripped of our 1st amendment. Until then, it’s competing against X, which has a much larger network.
To that end, we need to find a way to cater to the hard side of the network, the content creators. What do they need? What do they not like about X? The nostr community needs to figure that out and solve for it.

If you do a breadth first search on nostr for relay discovery
1) sample a bunch of relays for kind 10002
2) add each new relay to a queue to search through
3) sum up the number of hits for each relay, adding unseen ones to the queue
Its a power law.
We are engaging in a natural process:
- without artificial constraints like banning
- without artificial growth and superficial standardized engagement metrics
You only need to be here a while and engage randomly for a bit, you'll find your home and place on nostr. Everything else that improves the protocol is icing on top. You really can't be bullish enough. There is no banning nostr, because it is just websocket messaging.
You can do things to make your time here more enjoyable (writeup in process). Relays can be banned. But nostr itself can't be.
