If it costs more than half a Mullvad vpn subscription I share with my buddy
If I think it makes me more than I spend, I want to buy it. I’d pay $1000 a month if it made me $2000. For entertainment… ~$0.
I'll add a $5 subscription to @Nostria, and increase the Premium+ and put "Post to X" feature only on that one, as someone posting a lot of dual posting on Nostr and X does ramp up API costs.
I always hated subscription, but I have a couple that have value for me, Proton, Storj for backups (not really subscription but pay on usage monthly) and couple VPS for reverse proxy and light services I run. And some domains as well, hard to avoid if you want exposure. Rest I try to avoid but I admit that I got cough in a Claude pro, as a test if I can ROI it or not, because I used prepaid API for AI but I was spending 5 to 10 bucks a day when using it actively, nor sustainable.

I find that most things costing less than $10pm is garbage that shouldn't be charged anyway
I only pay for a basic Google subscription with 200 GB of storage. And it gives me a little more access to Gemini. As for entertainment—whether it's movies, TV shows, anime, etc. —the rest is 🏴‍☠️ I’ve only tried a few AI subscriptions here and there. But for now, every once in a while, I just request Opus 4.6 on @PayPerQ page for a few Sats.
