Your freedom of speech has social consequences. Losing your job is one. If your private employer doesn't like what you're saying. They can let you go. It's not cancel culture. You have freedom of speech, freedom to own a gun, etc. Not freedom to be employed.

The right is calling for private employers to fire private individuals based on the objectively abhorrent behavior they chose to display publicly. The left didn’t do just that in 2020-2022, they supported the government mandating vaccination and for people to be fired for not taking an experimental drug, or for refusing to be bullied into saying men can become women. The 2 sides are the same in as much as BSV and BTC are the same. What Pam Bondi said (which has been retracted) was not demanded by the right.
