I don't know quite enough but the idea does remind me of Monero's stealth addresses which I recently learned about (or relearned? idk)

it's funny that people consider secret addresses a #monero thing. It was developed for #Bitcoin ! Bitcoin didn't use it but it found a home with monero. Now it's finally come to Bitcoin. It's valuable for privacy, if privacy is something you actually care about
