I think from a UX standpoint it makes more sense to put the Remember forβ¦ toggle below the key selector, since thatβs the order I would use them.
1. Select key
2. Allow for 30 seconds
3. Approve
The key selection is not available in the override permissions screen. I am planning to also add permanent permissions for specified operations from the browser. Ideally, youβd have the permissions in the app so it doesnβt ask you all the time
Interesting. π€
I now see how it can get confusing for a user, given that βset to always allowedβ is a Safari extension enablement only. The extension further asks user to grant/deny permissions for the site to use their keys for specific operations. Some are harmless, some can be risky. I guess Iβll need to rethink the whole approach, since Nostr and its nips are not inherently secure and open user to malicious attacks if signing/decrypting is done unchecked. But I also see how this can turn into Windows 7 situation, where constant asks for permission wears people down.
