It's in Vegas and that says it all
i took what would have been my conference fees & hotel costs & bought bitcoin instead. seemed like the smarter play.
For real! Its pretty hard to watch
Bitcringe.
Wierd. I saw HRF and you see the amount of incredible new thoughts and ideas popping up and then compare to conference and it is crazy. I did like the presentation from steak and shake
Too snarky or nah?

Yeah, total cringe. Glad I bailed this year, will never go again.
Who writes the speeches for these people? Just get JD Vance to only say Bitcoin and avoid Crypto, Digital Assets, and Blockchain… everyone would be so impressed. Unless it really is a shitcoin conference.

Another shitcoin conference sucking off Republican politicians. Surprise surprise
Is it me or does it seem like a lot of OG bitcoiners are becoming impatient and trying to force the next 10X?
Like there sure is a lot of sucking up going on instead of just letting it all play out in BTC time. A lot of shady fucks are being allied with.
Watch your back OGers. The next bear market dump is gonna hurt like hell when these assholes try to take you down with them
I don’t think it’s OGers, I think it’s Bitcoin Magazine. They’re trying to find a conference and they’re making a decision between selling ad time and being purists and the latter is getting its ass kicked.
A lot of OGers think this is gay and retarded and are working on building things on Layer 0, 1, and 2
Not a fan. And it’s going back to Vegas in ‘26. 🤮
Holy shit no kidding.
The most fiat city of them all
I have to admit I'm actually getting a big kick out of watching all of the Bitcoin community reeling back in horror as they realize they're finally getting what they have asked for for so long.
Also missing the fact that this particular conference has always been a shit coin conference and this is just the latest iteration.
And in one way, I think this conference is kind of good. It doesn't have a purity test. You don't have to be a true Scotsman to join in. You can be a banker or an oligarch or you can be Ross.
The community is afraid that it's going to lose control over Bitcoin while not realizing it's never had any control over Bitcoin in the first place.
Ah, I don't think OGs are really better or worse than anyone else, but I will say, I think most of the OGs see this for what it is. This is not our first rodeo.
People like you, Joe Carlesare, Foss should start a real Bitcoin conference- not what we saw last week
