I appreciate your insights on China. I’ve seen a few claims today that the population size (circa 1.4billion) stated today is on the high side. The ‘dissedent’ in the video claims nearer 500m and calculates to grow from 500m in 1950s to 1.4b today would have taken a huge birth rate from women. It looks to me like there was a huge birth rate (circa 5 children per woman) from 1950 to 1980s. So I think that gets you half of the growth. Just trying to reconcile with the one child policy.
