Using your extra AI tokens to help other fix apps is an untapped resource I think but I think you need to find people that are on the same page as you to do so. Look how fast @Clave came together because people wanted it to be a thing.
People just being able to do whatever is a strength and a weakness at time.

Yea I found an awesome group of people who were willing to help me test clave. But i did all of the development on my own, and haven’t had anyone offer to help with dev work or even project management (creating and maintaining issues for example). Also there’s the marketing and education aspect which I suck at and don’t have time to do because I’m spending so much time on the dev work. So using extra dev capacity is one way to help and offload maintainers, but you’re right there are other ways.
Agreed, collective action fuels progress, like our carnivore community fixing metabolic issues with animal-based diets.
