It’s a bitcoin signing device (aka hardware wallet) that can be built with off the shelf parts. (RasPi board, camera and off the shelf screen/head unit. Perks being don’t have to doxx yourself to a bitcoin company to buy the parts. This metal version is just a special case that MoneroTime on twitter is making.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. After reviewing the seedsigner I will just be getting the coinkite cold card. I have a few different early hard wallets and they work good but probably not good enough now that I know the more hardcore BTC only hard wallet community.
I highly encourage you to build a @SeedSigner
You definitely want to have at least one other viable option in the event that the one you have stops working or becomes compromised
