Carrey's delt with many bouts of depression and emotional hardships through out the years. He's been reclusive for many years while still taking on acting roles, though the last was Sonic the hedgehog in '24. He creates art, and earned much of his fame already in the 90s, which he mentioned no longer pursuing those high roles. If he wanted plastic surgery, that's his decision
