erm... I really don't think you can compare LightSpark's API to relays or Lightning payments... that's like apples and oranges.... You can use MULTIPLE relays, you can use your own relays, relays are fully open-source, we can all inspect the code and know how Strfry works... The Lightning Network was carefully designed over 10 years to preserve privacy. LSPs absolutely do NOT get I.P. address information about where payments come from, and also, LSPs can't ever know for sure what the final destination of a payment. Compare this to LightSparks's API... LightSpark has SOLE and COMPLETE and EXCLUSIVE access to the full lifecycle of a user's payment, and gets to collect IP addresses and user-agents on EACH interaction with the API. Nobody else can compete with LightSpark -- so Blitz users are literally locked into using this one proprietary API, run, basically by the closest thing Bitcoin has to "narcs" -- LightSpark. This is like comparing TOR to PayPal. It's crazy to say they are anything alike...

“”” LightSparks' API... LightSpark has SOLE and COMPLETE and EXCLUSIVE access to the full lifecycle of a user's payment. “”” So does Phoenix LSP. If they go down users can’t make payments. They also know where you send to and when you receive. Any LSP that does the route finding for a user knows the destination of the payment. But again we’ve never claimed Spark is more private than Lightning.
