Working at the chocolate kitchen today and we're having an experiment day!! That means I get to eat a lot of chocolate. Good & bad. I'll definitely be heading to the gym after work.🤣
OMG! So many different things! Sour cherry chocolates, cranberry & hazelnut chocolate, salted nut caramel chocolates, a bunch of different truffles, chef has figured out these lucious "icy square" type deals, some chocolate crisp... So much more!
I heard chef talking to a supplier on the phone today. She was from Cameron and her family has a cacao plantation and can provide 100's of tons (which is what we need) for a great price. They were going over all kinds of technical details. Super interesting to learn from that. Also, apparently the prefers the notes & flavour profiles of West African cacao over his currently supply. I had to leave before the conversation was over but I think he's going to try it out.
It’s the same à here as well, but we have White day where the boys give back to the ladies.
Traditionally, for V day , the ladies give choco to the men.
