If I was to give anyone advice. I’d say be radically honest with yourself and with others. Lying is easy in the moment, but leads to a worse life.

🎯🎯🎯 Lying is high time preference. The negativity compounds over time, worsening peace of mind and therefore life, inevitably, for self and immediate family. Honesty is the basis for creating a strong foundation for yourself, and for civilization. 🧡🧡🧡

And everytime you lie, you have to keep that lie going forever in fear of being called out as a liar. It will eventually be found out too. Easier to just tell the truth , then you have nothing to keep track of
My life has improved greatly since I stopped telling small lies. Now, I either tell the truth or just refuse to talk about it. It's great.

Be a new radical, and you will get what you give
People pleaser here. Saying “yes” and “sure” are on autopilot - regardless of intention/action. Saying no means freedom. Saying no is extremely difficult.

Wait. I messed that up. Hahaha. Jokes on me. The new block reward us 3.125. I lose this round.
The amount of energy required to maintain a lie over time compounds.
I don't understand why someone would lie when they don't have to. So I don't understand how lying is "easy in the moment", but there are so many situations for so many people where lying is pretty necessary or else they definitely live a worse life. E.g. most children with their parents, or in school, or with authority figures.

Yes. I think about this quote a lot. image
"Tell the truth. All the time. About everything. What’s the alternative to radical honesty? Waste. Wasted time, wasted money, wasted possibilities - a wasted life." Brad Blanton
someone said "when you tell the truth, what happens next is the least bad reaction that would eventually happen" and i try to live by that since
