I can imagine turning off the notifications for them if that's what you mean. For someone who gets a ton of notifications especially. Like I probably wouldn't want thousands of those per day. But add a client Dev address or something. Or if clients just didn't show a zap button for people without an address. I waste a lot of time zapping and getting errors. Multi layered issue.

Sorry, I meant just not using zaps, no address and no nwc. And also in clients that completely remove likes from the interface. There are a lot of reasons why anyone does anything on Nostr though, and they're free to do so. I dunno if I'd zap someone if they just had someone else's zap address set on their profile.
