I also grew up with the quicker side haha. My favorites were definitely Astral projection (the older albums ofcourse). "Crossing mind - cyclone in your heart" is my favorite newschool track (2014) But yeah, once I discovered the downtempo side of psychedelic music I was completely sold on it and listened a lot less to the higher bpm stuff. (Aes dana, carbon based lifeforms, solar fields, and so many more)
Oh I'm well aware. I already was a fan of them during the PS1 era, tracks of them were featured in the wipeout franchise. I particulary remember "FSOL - Landmass"
