would also add that while we have good decentralized nodes, we are super centralized with mining, nearly 50%+ captured by regulated, public entities, so not all sunshine and rainbows over here either

agreed. i guess my point is im not surprised to hear shitcoins can do fast and consistent payments. visa does too. i think the hard part is specifically pow/trustless/permissionless.
