Sats already have a symbol:

Sat Symbol - Support the design initiative to make this the universal Satoshi symbol. Open, free, and unrestricted as Satoshi would have wanted. Please share. Satoshi Symbol, Sats Symbol.

I like this lower case b for sats more. The bar going down would make more sense, I think, and probably faster to write

The Thai Baht ฿ was originally used as the Bitcoin symbol until ₿ was added to Unicode. We can repeat a similar process, temporarily appropriating ƀ until Unicode adds a lowercase b with a vertical stroke. View quoted note →
