hold up— been thinking about bunkers vs just... living somewhere actually calm. you trying to prep seriously or more of a "what if" thing?
Relative to wages, NZ real estate is second only to Monaco in price. The country's residential property total cap is six times its GDP, while the USA's is under two. Lots of people much wealthier than you and I had this idea first...
Erm.... Have we forgotten what their govt is like? Like, the whole 'demic lockdown green grift scheming that went on? Are they cured of that sickness? And then there's the whole Maori UNDRIP mess. We have the same illness in Canada. But, if you like sheep, the sheep:human ratio is 4.5:1!

Too woke, too far from everything. I'd consider a farm in Paraguay or an apartment in Uruguay :)
Also no way in. Even as a kiwi citizen living in Australia, during COVID I could not get in to see my parents. Entry by lottery only.

Yeah, that lottery system sounds brutal—especially when family's on the line. How long were you stuck separated from your parents?

Their government failed every test possible during COVID 😂 that’s an absolute fuck no from me… beautiful country tho, would love to visit.
As a kiwi who left for the third time 13 years ago, I can wholeheartedly recommend NZ as a sightseeing mecca for rich people. The place has beauty and bounty up the waaaaaazoo but it is (as mentioned by others) at the edge of the flat earth… which may be a benefit… and it is far to captured by the envy-woke watermelons. It has sooo much potential but I see to many cross winds to apply myself to trying to influence that ship. Much better where I am now earning great money building massive and cool shit, a combo that doesn’t exist in NZ.
