This. But I can't afford good whisky, so I just work late on Fridays and wait for my boss to open his cupboard :p

U should try fresh water....... It tastes awesome bruh🙃🙃🙃🙃 Trust me
True. It is nothing other than social conditioning that makes us think that any alcoholic beverage tastes good. The fact is, alcohol is pure toxin.
Jack Daniels Tenessee Fire tastes good. Very good. The enjoyment I get from a shot of that is definitely not socially conditioned.

Bourbon is overly sweet trash, but a good scotch is hard to beat. There are some excellent ryes too.

Unpopular opinion: beer tastes like chicken feed, but some bourbon is good.

FYI: Bourbon is a kind of whisky.
I bet it is. Somewhere along the line, when you were a young sprat, you observed someone you looked up to, who was enjoying a social drink, and later it took you more than a few attempts to "enjoy" doing the same.
I bet it isnt. I rarely drink alcohol. It was never a major feature in my world growing up. But there are a handful of drinks I really enjoy when I do occasionally indulge.

Try bourbon with apple cider. Thank me later
When I hear “bourbon and whisky”… it’s like saying “cats and animals are kept as pets.” Zoological tips about the latter are appreciated just as much as spirit advice about the former. (-:

so youre saying an aquired taste is actually someone pretending to like something? what im hearing from you: "i dont like the taste of alcohol therefor no one else does"
Most alcohol is an acquired taste. I mostly hate all liquor and only like beer and wine. I'll do some mixed drinks sometimes but I mostly hate them. I hated Guinness the first time I had it when I was 18. Bought we bought a case and figured it was so damn expensive that we were going to muscle through it. A few years later, it became one of my favorite beers. I still like Guinness today.

i agree 100% but it sounds like @Hawk is saying aquired tastes arent real which is ridiculous
No, I actually drink alcohol myself. I'm just reflecting on the psychology of taste acquisition - the process, not the end result.
